LEO CHAMBER ORCHESTRA
LCO is a united chamber orchestra with more than 20 members. The fourth concert with proudly supported by COA. The previous concerts were immaculately successful with the foremost concert held in August 2019 immediately followed by another one in December 2019. The third concert performed on 6th September 2020. LEO’s thrill was reaching heights when the City of Adelaide provided a grant for the fourth concert held on 20th December to celebrate Christmas and New Year. As the members of the Association grew, the Orchestra was formed and named as Leo Chamber Orchestra.
OUR HISTORY
The established of the music salon in 2019 was initiated by only 4 people in the quartet. Their passion and emotion to express their form of music were immense. They began performing as a string quartet in several Aged Care and Disability Care centres along with some community centres. These performances were not for profit but for pure dedication towards multicultural togetherness and desire for music. Soon they got an opportunity to perform for Lunar New Year Street parties in 2020.

After performing three major concerts. We performed our fourth concert on 20th December 2020 to celebrate Christmas and New Year.

As the members of the Association grew, the Orchestra was formed and named Leo Chamber Orchestra. In comparison to the previous year (2020), where the members performed as a string quartet in Lunar New Year, in 2021, we have our own Orchestra with diverse artists and musicians spreading fun, frolic and liveliness through music. The performance at Lunar New Year Street parties (2021) as an orchestra had been flawless. It bought about a sense of pride among the members with the motivation to grow!
